Salem means "peace"

And that's why we're here. Jesus came to give us peace in a troubled world. So whether you

are a long-time disciple or a first-time seeker, we invite you to join us on a journey of faith.

Our vision

is to be the light of Jesus Christ in our homes, our church, our community, and our world.

Our staff

  • Rev. Jim Sipes

Since his arrival in 2015, Pastor Jim has promoted an exciting vision for Salem's future. With a unique blend of honesty, humor, and compassion, he encourages and challenges - whether preaching to a crowd or chatting one-on-one. When he's not doing ministry, you'll find him reading up on the latest technology or enjoying a good movie on his big screen.

New here?

We hope to meet you soon! Until then, here's a little bit about us.

What makes Salem different?

Our church has been worshiping together for over 225 years; we know and love our community! With a rich heritage and a bright future, we blend the best of the past and present.

What can I expect on Sundays?

We have three worship services: contemporary (modern music, live band), traditional (hymns, organ, liturgy), and informal praise that is a blend of both (praise team, hymns, choruses). The style is different, but the content is the same: We sing, pray, and open the Bible to learn. Want a preview? Click here to listen to our most recent sermons.

Informal Praise Service: 8:45 AM in the sanctuary

Contemporary Service: 9:45 AM in the Salem Center

Traditional Service: 11 AM in the sanctuary

What will my kids do?

We are a church for all ages, committed to creating an environment that is both fun and safe. That is why our teachers and staff undergo regular background checks. Like you, we want the very best for your children!

Nursery care is available for children 2 years old and under during contemporary and traditional worship. We also offer age-specific programming for older kids during the contemporary service.
